The Elements of Innovation Discovered

GoldSpot AI for Critical Elements Lithium

Machine learning moves into green-tech metal exploration Metal Tech News – June 23, 2021

Just two days after signing an agreement to assist in the exploration of Opawica Explorations Inc.'s gold properties in Quebec Abitibi Greenstone Belt and Central Newfoundland properties, GoldSpot Discoveries Corp. has cut a deal to apply its proprietary machine learning technology and geoscience expertise to Critical Elements Lithium Corp.'s extensive land package in Quebec.

"Our engagement with Critical Elements showcases GoldSpot's ability to work with mining leaders across resources to identify new mineral exploration targets," said Goldspot Discoveries Executive Chairman and President Denis Laviolette. "Significant global capital is being invested throughout the electric vehicle supply chain, which will drive demand for high-quality lithium sources. We are excited to work with the Critical Elements team to capitalize on their existing infrastructure and exploration potential as well as demonstrate our advanced analytical technology."

GoldSpot already has extensive experience working with leading exploration and mining clients across a wide array of commodities and deposit types to apply its cutting-edge AI algorithms to significantly increase mineral exploration efficiency and success rate across different resources.

Now, the machine learning explorer will work closely with the technical team at Critical Elements to analyze geoscience datasets to develop and refine smart targets at explorations projects that feature multiple lithium showings as well as nickel, copper, and gold.

"We are really excited to be able to work with GoldSpot to apply their exclusive technology to generate targets on our projects from geological and geochemical data, as well as more recent geophysical data acquired during our last survey," said Jean-Sébastien Lavallée, CEO of Critical Elements Lithium. "Resumption of exploration work on our different projects covering more than 700-square-kilometers aiming to show the full potential is part of the development plan put in place by our team to become a large and responsible large lithium producer."

GoldSpot is becoming renowned for its ability to apply its AI and geoscience methods to distill all available geological information to identify an efficient and cost-effective approach to the exploration of prospective terrane across large land packages.

The standard of the AI company's workflow is taking most of all the available public geoscience data and compiling and synthesizing it for the permits of scope and surrounding areas. Structural, geological, metamorphism, hydrothermal footprint, geophysical, and remote sensing components will all be analyzed through GoldSpot's AI tools to produce high-priority targets for field prospecting.

Moving from the precious into the critical, GoldSpot has opted for no better time to insert itself into the future of those valuable minerals, rare earths, and metals necessary for the transition to a green economy.
